Pernod Ricard Slovenia is the representative of Pernod Ricard brands in Slovenia. The company is engaged in the production, distribution and marketing of renowned beverages. Their ambition is to turn every social interaction into a genuine and friendly sharing experience.
For the purpose of informing employees and business partners about what's new in the range, we created a printed newspaper for the client - Jameson Times.
The Jameson Times is more than just a newspaper; it is a bridge between tradition and modernity, reflecting the Irish lifestyle. It brings together lovers of Irish culture and builds a community around shared values, stories and experiences. The Jameson Times reflects the values of a community that honours tradition but is not afraid to innovate. It is a symbol of togetherness, heritage and pride that can be felt on every page.
The key challenge was how to create a printed newspaper that not only informs, but also inspires and connects Irish culture lovers. A newspaper that would be appreciated by employees and business partners alike, that would intertwine Slovenian idiosyncrasies and personalities with the Irish spirit and way of life.
We approached the project in a holistic way. We started by creating a visual identity that is contemporary with a touch of Irish tradition and heritage. Using different textures, symbols and combined with fresh graphic elements, we gave the newspaper a uniquely Irish feel. We designed a break that was clear and visually appealing with different editorial sections.
We work with the client to develop the content for each new edition. We usually interview a Slovenian celebrity, include recipes for different cocktails, travel tips, showcase different festivals at home and abroad, etc.
The response from employees and business partners has been overwhelmingly positive. The Jameson Times has become a popular read and raised awareness of the Irish way of life. The project has successfully combined tradition, innovation, quality and has become a new way of communicating with partners.
