Client

The National Assembly is the highest representative and legislative body in the Republic of Slovenia. Its primary task is to perform the legislative function of government, in which its members adopt the most important legal acts of the State.

The restaurant at the National Assembly has a long tradition and has always been a popular choice for Members of Parliament and employees of the National Assembly, as well as for visitors and tourists wishing to taste authentic Slovenian cuisine in a unique setting.

Over the years, the DZ Restaurant has remained faithful to Slovenian cultural and culinary traditions, while adapting to modern trends and guests' tastes. Their current offer is rich and varied, combining traditional Slovenian dishes with innovative approaches and fresh ingredients.

Challenge

The restaurant team at the National Assembly wanted to improve its communication with Members of Parliament and staff and give them easy access to the daily and weekly menus.

The restaurant menu was previously available on the intranet and the logical extension of this was to place the menu on TV screens outside and inside the restaurant. This would allow the team to highlight the daily and weekly dishes in an attractive way.

Solution

We have introduced an innovative kiosk solution that runs on TV screens in front of and inside the restaurant. The menu allows you to display the daily, weekly and other menus both online and on the TV screens in the restaurant.

Through the back-end system, the DZ restaurant team has become autonomous in editing the menu and other offerings, allowing for up-to-the-minute content updates. The content is also available for display online.

Results

Following the successful testing and publication of the solution, communication and information about the restaurant's offer has been greatly improved. Members and staff of the National Assembly are now easily informed about the daily and weekly menu via the TV screen or online. The system has helped to improve transparency and flexibility in menu preparation and has reduced printing costs. The introduction of the kiosk solution has therefore delivered excellent results and improved the overall customer experience at the DZ Restaurant.
